Southshore convoy leaves Kenner Visitor's Center (I-10 @ Loyola) at 8:00 a.m We meet with others from B.R. at The Cajun Village, corner of Hwy 22 and 70 (I-10 Exit Hwy 22 Sorrento, go west) at 9:00 a.m. for coffee/beignets. Depart at 9:30 on Hwy 22 to Sorrento, French Settlement, and then Port Vincent.
Northshore convoy
leaves from behind the Texaco Station (I-12 @ Hwy. 21) at 9:00 a.m. and meets up with us in Port Vincent at Fred's on the Amite River at 10:00 a.m.
We then head on to the Rural Life Museum ($5 or $6 per person) on Hwy 42. We will then go to Superior Grill on Government Street for lunch at 12:30. At 2:00, we'll go downtown on Government St. to tour the capital area, and then stop at the Louisiana State Museum (Free). Alternatively, if it's getting too late for the out of towners, they can head home from Superior Grill.
