Sunday, June 5 - ”Back to the Beach” Car
Show at Pontchartrain Beach, New Orleans, Franklin Ave at the
Lake. Meet 11:00 a.m. at the Kinko’s at Franklin & Leon
C Simon and convoy to the show. Entry fee $25 per person. They park
in order of arrival—to get a British section, we have to arrive
together!! Bring your sunscreen, chairs and shade umbrella—the
club’s bringing the canopy. Food and drink available for purchase.
1:00 pm Zu Zu Mud (ZZ Top tribute), 3:25 p.m. Bobby Cure and the
Summertime Blues, followed by the Bucktown All Stars and the Top
Cats, then fireworks at 8:45pm. (Taste of
Bavaria moved to Sept. 11)

Blues Show Band. Bring lawn chairs and picnic dinner
(or food is available for purchase). The only alcoholic beverages
allowed are Pontchartrain Vineyards Wines. Admission: $ 8.50/person
children 12 and under are free. South shore convoy leaves Causeway
Bridge parking lot 4:30 p.m., North shore convoy leaves Rouse's
